This American Heart Association course is designed for non-healthcare providers such as child care providers, physical fitness instructors, mental health providers, bus drivers; anyone who works with the public but not in health care. This in-person classroom course is designed to meet OSHA requirements. The course teaches basic first aid skills including the treatments for bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use. The course is 4 hours long.
The Heartsaver First Aid and CPR Student Workbook is required for this course and is included in the tuition. You will receive your workbook when you arrive for class.
